Oriental Rug Return Policy
AZIZ appreciates that it is sometimes hard to visualize a rug in your home - you simply need to see it to know if it is 'the one'. We are confident in our vast selection of rugs we have several that will suit your needs, however, our number one priority is customer satisfaction, so we do offer a generous return, refund and exchange policy.
We also understand that it is much harder for you to return a rug to our showroom when you live out of state and drive several hours to visit us, so to accomodate this, we have a seperate policy for returns done locally, and returns for customers out of state. If we ship your rug to your home outside of a 50 mile radius from our store, then you should consider yourself a 'shipment return' and read the appropriate section. If you live within 50 miles of our store, and bought your rug at our Oriental Rug Gallery in San Antonio TX, then you are a 'Gallery Return'.
Gallery Returns Policy
We accept returns up to 7 days after purchase, only if the rug is in identical condition from when it left our gallery. We reserve the right to refuse returns, refunds, and exchanges for Oriental Rugs that have been damaged, soiled, torn, or are otherwise are in different condition from when they left our showroom. All Hand Knotted Oriental Rugs must be returned on weekdays, or shipped to us at the buyer's expense.
We will not accept a return or issue a refund to any rug after 7 days of purchase, however, we do allow exchanges up to 15 days from the time of purchase. We will not accept any exchanges after 15 days.
Please contact us for a Return Authorization before returning your rug, otherwise a 10% restocking fee will incur, which will be subtracted from your refund amount before it is processed.
Shipping Returns Policy
We accept refunds up to 15 days after purchase, only if the rug is in identical condition from when it left our gallery. We reserve the right to refuse returns, refunds, and exchanges for Oriental Rugs that have been damaged, soiled, torn, or are otherwise are in different condition from when they left our showroom. We accept exchanges up to 30 days after purchase
Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility. We highly recommend buying insurance for your rug, if the rug is lost or damaged and is not insured, we will not accept a return,and we will not issue a refund or exchange.
After 15 days of purchase refunds will not be accepted, and after 30 days of purchase returns will not be accepted and we will not issue exchanges.
Please contact us for a return authorization, if you return your rug without a return authorization, a 10% restocking fee will incur.
Please ship rugs carefully, use the same or similar packaging to protect from weather, bugs, and dirt. We reserve the right to refuse shipment and refund if the rug is damaged or soiled.
If you refuse shipment we will consider it a return without authorization, and we will issue a refund for the total price minus the cost of return shipping and the 10% restocking fee. If the rug is not in the condition it was sent to you, no refund will be issued.
Oriental Rugs : General Return Policy
No returns, refunds, and exchanges will be accepted, unless they are in accordance with the policies above. When purchasing a rug with AZIZ Company, you are accepting and agreeing to our terms and condition of purchase.
Hand Knotted Oriental Rugs : Variation Note
Please note that natural variations in size, color, and shape are normal features of a hand knotted rug, and shows authenticity, and adds character and charm to the rug. These variations are not considered defects.
Please understand these policies are to ensure that we can offer a return policy to our customers, and continue to offer the lowest prices on the highest quality of hand knotted Oriental Rugs. Most Oriental Rug Galleries and even many furniture stores do not offer any refund policy at all because they are so often abused, forcing retailers to accept heavily damaged returns that can no longer be sold, and often used to 'rent' items for weekend events.
Whereas we understand it is unlikely that you are the type of person who would abuse our returns, sadly those people are out there, and we must enforce a consistent policy for all customers to ensure we can offer a return program at all.
